Fun and easy breakfast

We eat eggs a lot for breakfast. My go to is scrambled, but that can get a bit boring.

My mom used to make these for us when we were little.
We called them 'Egg in the frames', but I've heard other names for it as well.

You just take bread and use a cup to cut a hole.
If you want to get cute, you could use a cookie cutter, it just has to fit inside the slice so the egg won't leak out.
Butter both sides.
Put it on a hot griddle and then crack an egg into each one.
I like to go ahead and salt and pepper the top then because my kiddos can't be trusted with the shakers. :)
Flip them to cook the other side.
I like mine soft, but done all the way, but you could cook them to whatever consistency you want!

I also butter the circles I cut out and throw them on for a bit to toast them up
